The meticulous engineering in the PEMF-120 allows for precision in the most crucial component of any magnetic field system – the rise time of each pulse. This rise time (or speed of induction) is responsible for generating a local charge in the exposed tissues.

Used at the highest intensity, the PEMF-120 can cause muscle contractions. These muscle contractions are different than with traditional electrical stimulation systems. Electric therapy systems introduce electrical charge into the muscle, causing the muscle to contract locally, which sometimes causes the whole muscle to contract – this is often very uncomfortable. That is not the same as what the body does, which is to energize the nerve that then energizes the muscle.
